A Tea Time Language Truth

Headshot of a beautiful woman sipping tea from a large cup with the words "Queen Bee" on the cup.

Alright friends, it's Tea Time and I'm fixin' to talk about 3 of the stupidest words to be strung together... It'll be fine.

"It'll be fine" supposes that you have some magical insight into the future, which, you most assuredly do not.

"It'll be fine" is an inconsiderate and ignorant way to shut down a conversation. It completely ignores the other person's point of view and allows for zero discourse. It’s not a persuasive argument.

"It'll be fine" is a childish response to facts that are contrary to what you're doing or saying or about to do or say. It’s a phrase that’s rooted in defensive reactionism, rather than actual knowledge.

To be clear, I'm not talking about an utterance of faith, wherein "it'll be fine" becomes a prayer to your higher power. Not that at all.

Ultimately, don't tell someone "it'll be fine," because simply by saying those words, you prove that it isn't.
